Combat-log scoring

Leaderboard

Total Dungeon Value

Total Dungeon Value (TDV) scores World of Warcraft Mythic+ combat logs using damage, healing, utility and survival. TDV compares the weighted result with recorded performances of the same role in the same season. A 75 is the 75th percentile for that role.

Your raw log stays in your browser. Review results locally, then sign in with Discord to save run details and scores to the community leaderboard.

Behind the score

How does TDV score Mythic+ runs?

Total Dungeon Value combines damage, healing, utility and survival with weights for tanks, healers and DPS. The final TDV is the weighted score's percentile among recorded performances of the same role in the same season. A TDV of 75 means the 75th percentile in that reference group. It measures relative performance, not the percentage of the dungeon you carried.

How do I score and save a combat log?

  1. Enable Advanced Combat Logging in WoW before recording a complete Mythic+ run.
  2. Choose the resulting WoWCombatLog .txt file in the scorer above. Parsing happens in your browser.
  3. Review the results. Sign in with Discord and select Save to add them to the community leaderboard.

The browser scorer does not upload your raw log. Saving sends run details, character identifiers and performance counters to calculate and publish scores. Without a compatible reference, the local result is a weighted preview; saved scores use the season's reference population.

Is TDV the same as Mythic+ rating?

TDV is MDL's combat-log performance measure. The TDV leaderboard averages run percentiles with keystone weighting and requires at least three scored runs for a rank. The Seasonal Wheel leaderboard instead tracks wheel players' Mythic+ rating. They answer different questions.

Methodology: MDL scoring engine 2.1.0. Read the scoring engine source for the role weights and calculations. Submitted counters are checked for consistency; they are not authenticated proof of a combat log. See the privacy policy for stored data.
