Fixed a false incomplete-capture warning

Some complete logs were blocked from scoring because a log-format header was timestamped ahead of the combat events that followed it. This update corrects that check.

What changed

  • Log-format header timestamps no longer trigger a gameplay time-reversal warning. Header compatibility, actual event order, run completeness and dungeon timer checks remain in place.
  • Priority-target coverage now shows unavailable when classification could not be evaluated, instead of showing a misleading 0%.

If your run was affected

Reload the TDV page and select your original combat-log file again. Runs blocked by this header-timing issue can now pass capture checks and be saved if all other upload requirements are met.

Companion users should update to the helper containing engine 2.2.1. Scoring weights and recorded contribution totals are unchanged.

A clearer view of your dungeon contributions

See where your damage went, who received your healing, and which spells you interrupted or dispelled. This release adds more detail to run reports and improves how pet contributions are credited.

New in your run reports

  • Damage by target, with priority-target damage and registry coverage when reviewed rules apply to the dungeon, game build and capture date. The initial shortlist covers 38 entries across eight dungeons; it is not exhaustive.
  • Healing split between yourself, other players, and pets or NPCs, with separate amounts for effective healing, consumed shields and heal-absorb removal.
  • Spell-level breakdowns of interrupts, dispels and purges in both local previews and saved reports.

More accurate attribution and clearer capture checks

  • Pet damage, healing, shields, interrupts and dispels are credited when the parser learns the owner later in the log, without counting the contribution twice.
  • Capture notices explain missing information, unsupported formats and suspected gaps. Saving requires a compatible capture and all five distinct players; other captures remain available for local review.
  • Updated companion uploaders can retry an older blocked job after a compatible reparse while preserving server retry cooldowns.

What this means for your score

Scoring weights are unchanged. Priority-target damage and the new contribution breakdowns do not add a TDV bonus in this release. They provide evidence for reviewing a more balanced scoring model.

Targets whose priority depends on a phase, shield or kill order are labeled separately and receive no static priority credit. When reviewed rules do not apply, priority damage is shown as unavailable.

The initial priority rules cover build 12.1.0 runs starting October 10–12, 2026 UTC. Other capture dates and builds need separately reviewed rules; recorded target damage remains available.

Reparsing a log can change its score when attribution fixes recover contributions. Existing saved runs remain readable, but missing contribution detail is shown as unavailable until the original log is reparsed and saved again.

Before your next upload

Update your TDV companion and addon to the 2.2.0 release if you use them. Enable Advanced Combat Logging before recording a complete key. The website already uses the new engine.

A compatible capture means the parser supports the format and detected no capture gap. It does not independently verify the log or prove that every event was recorded.
